Everyone is Always Available

In any job market, and not just in this terrible one, everyone is always available.

If there's someone you want, you might be able to get them. Sure, their price may be high, their demands may be unreasonable, or their options may seem limitless. But, if you can accommodate them, they're yours.

Of course, you don't have to meet anyone's demands when you have a labor pool rich in talent. Hundreds of people apply to jobs and hiring managers very nearly want to throw their hands up in the air. But, that pile of resumes may be worth going through, because your next employee is in there.

And who knows? It might just be someone you've always wanted. Someone who you thought was unavailable.

Remember: it never hurts to ask, and it never hurts to look.
