Don’t join a community that gets attention; join a community that gets you.
While headlines and fame are tempting and seem like they add prestige, deep community isn’t built on notoriety.
Rather, deep community is built on noticing. It sees the parts of you that it can learn from, as well as the parts of you that need to learn something.
Deep community doesn’t yell, “Look at us!” Instead, it calmly says, “I see you.”
