A Happy Place

You need one. And you need to get there when you need it.

It may be a physical place: a waterfall, a mountain peak, a field of lilies, your mom's kitchen table.

It may be a spiritual place: a memory of a loved one, a song that takes you back, the smell that reminds you of junior year.

It may be a mental place: the visualization of success, a dream coming true, what you'll do when you get where you want to go.

I don't think we each have one singular happy place. I think we can have several.

And we need as many as possible, as many that will work for us.

Because there will be times when we need to go there. Make sure you know the way.
