Droughts Are Over

It's April 1, and while some use the day to play jokes, for me, it means two things:

  1. It's time for yardwork. I'm really not a big fan of this, but it has to be done. So, I spent some of the morning tuning up my lawn after a welcomed winter hiatus.
  2. It's time for baseball. After football ended, I had to bide my time until opening day. March Madness helps, as does the occasional golf tournament. But tonight, the first pitch will be thrown on a very long season. I'm one of the few people I know who can actually watch baseball on TV. Since I don't have a favorite team it doesn't even matter who's playing.
