How to Sail

Some things in your life (people, ideas, jobs) will be your wind. They'll help you get where you want to go in the open waters of life. Hoist your sails and let them blow you toward your destiny.

Some things in your life will be your anchor. They'll cause you to appropriately pause and stay in place. They'll ground you, keep you safe, and allow you to rest before you move on to what's next.

Don't confuse one for the other. Thinking someone or some opportunity will help you move forward when it's really an anchor will leave you frustrated. And while the wind will help you get to where you're going, it also comes with an element of risk and unpredictability.

Sail well by knowing who can help you with what, and when it's time to cast off and when it's time to anchor down.
