Last week, I fired off two quick emails. Less than 100 words each, when I clicked Send, I never felt better.
They were two emails of admiration and thanks. One was sent to a friend to thank her for her courage and inspiration I found in a recent blog post. The other congratulated a friend on her sense of humor.
Nothing urgent was within and each email was just one more in what I'm sure is a very busy inbox for each of them. But both were necessary.
Because appreciation is necessary. And if it's not voiced or written, it doesn't exist. Now it's your turn: thank someone this week. Go.
