No such thing as a quick fix

Quick fixes often result in quick breaks (again).

This is why community isn’t a quick fix for what’s missing: a better job, a happier environment, deeper meaning in life, accountability, encouragement, hope.

If you want to feel busy, go for the quick fix. It usually only leads to a “repair and repeat” mentality so you’ll be busy again in no time.

But if you want to feel productive, opt for the slow fix. Take your time finding a community and diving in. Your patience will result in something that will need steady attention but never crisis management.

Best of all, you’ll spend time growing instead of fixing.
