In our Batch weekly team meetings, we've begun earmarking time for compliments. Call them what you like - kudos, praises, huzzahs, snaps - we make sure each person has a chance to give voice to another who has done something great from the week before.
The beauty of the practice is that everyone usually ends up getting praised as much as they praise others. Kind words and encouragement are often reciprocal, I've found.
So do what you need to - add an agenda item, set up a booth, go to lunch - but make sure you and your team are able to be deliberate about affirming one another.
We all need it.
