In a pitch black room, a match, a candle, or a flashlight can pierce through the darkness and light up the entire room. It's powerful.
In contrast, were there such thing as a flashdark (the opposite of a flashlight), it wouldn't make much of a dent outside in the noonday sun.
If you want to make an impact, bring light to darkness. Be the optimistic and hopeful one, the giver of second chances, the motivator, or the forgiver.
What you'll soon see is that such brightness begins to usher out the darkness, the negative, the hopeless, and the cruelty.
So if you have the choice, be the light. You'll be noticed every time.
