Brain Snacks 017: The math of legacy
Your entire legacy will be made up from one simple equation:
Reputation multiplied by time.
Reputations can be temporary (remember high school?) but if repeated and continued for long enough, voila! You’ve got a legacy on your hands.
The good news? Whatever you’re know for now - you have time to change that. (Case in point: Alfred Nobel.)
If you wait long enough, you’ll be known for something.
If you work long enough, you’ll be known for something, too.
