How to Spend Your Time

You can spend a lot of time getting noticed - hire a PR person, inundate Facebook friends' feeds with your latest offering, stage elaborate events. Push and push and push.

Or instead of spending all that time getting noticed, you could spend all that time getting good.

Instead of drawing attention to yourself (being famous for being famous), pour that energy into your craft, your passion, your work, or your idea. Then, you'll get noticed because you're good (being famous for being good).

Get good, then get noticed. The other way around never works.
