Of course, by default, spellchecking also highlights your successes. Everything not underlined was spelled correctly. Bravo!
We don't notice those things we do right as much as we notice the ways we misspell, misspeak, or misstep.
We need to design better systems, then. Even if we don't technically need a better spellcheck, we do need a better way to recognize the things we're doing right and celebrate them.
