Down to Size

Here's a valuable reminder about the good kind of feeling small, like when standing in awe of this great big world, a piece of art, or true love.

Of course, we may also feel small when someone cuts us down; that's no fun.

The trick is to remember that we don't have to feel small at the expense of someone else's efforts. We can choose to wait and feel small only in those awesome (and not awful) moments.

Of course, this also means we must take care to make no one feel small, unless it comes as the result of some great masterpiece of ours.
