How old were the key players of the American Revolution? A sample rundown:  

  • Benjamin Franklin:  70
  • George Washington:  44
  • Alexander Hamilton:  21

What this means is that usually, when big things happen, multiple generations are involved. Whether it's a great new company, a healthy university, a shift in our collective thinking, or a resurgent neighborhood, having people on board born in different eras is an asset.
