Brain Snacks 002: How to do 10,000 push-ups
I’ve done at least 10,000 push-ups this year.
As of January 1, I had done none.
Most days, I’ll try to do at least 100. Some days I don’t do any. The streak doesn’t matter as much as the total does.
So, 100 push-ups a day on average for four days a week on average, and there you have it - 10,000 so far. I’d like to up it and get to 25,000 by year’s end.
But I can’t take off until November and hope to catch up quickly. It’s a steady drip. There is no other way to do 10,000 push-ups.
The same is true of you building a sales funnel, growing your LinkedIn network, putting money in your savings account, learning a new language, or creating art.
The sea of change is measured in drips, not waves.
